The Story

Built on
two decades
of knowing.

Shannon Cather has been doing hair for over 20 years. She trained under top stylists in Los Angeles, built a loyal clientele across Southern California, and in 2011 opened her first Echelon Salon in the greater LA area. She was good at it. After years in California, she and her family made the move to Idaho in 2020 and saw something the Treasure Valley was missing.

Not just a good salon. A truly great one. The kind where the space itself feels like a destination, where every stylist is genuinely talented, and where the experience matches the results. Shannon spent four years looking for the right location. She kept finding herself at Crave, kept driving past the Bridges at Lakemoor on Eagle Road, kept thinking the same thing every time she spotted that pond from the Barre3 windows: that's it.

In May 2025, she made it official. Echelon Salon Eagle opened with a hand-selected team, a space designed from scratch with Wadsworth Design out of Utah, and the same philosophy she has carried her entire career: do the work right, treat people well, and the rest follows.

The result is a salon that feels different the moment you walk in, and keeps you coming back.

The Space

Shannon designed every inch of this salon with intention. The interior was built out with Wadsworth Design out of Utah. Every finish, fixture, and detail considered. The result is a space that feels like a calm, elevated escape the moment you step inside.

The building is brand new, sitting at the front of the Bridges at Lakemoor center on Eagle Road, one of the Treasure Valley's most accessible corridors. Outside, a pond sits just beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the room with natural light and serene water views that make every appointment feel a little quieter than the rest of your day.

Inside: floating stations, tall mirrors, custom gallery-grade lighting built specifically for hair work. The shampoo area features lay-flat comfort bowls and a scalp massage you will genuinely look forward to. A super-automatic coffee machine, fresh snacks, a modern breakroom, and a full-size washer and dryer for the team. Nothing overlooked.

The location puts you steps from Crave, Luxe Reel Theatre, Swig, Social Oak, and Barre3, with free, abundant parking right outside the door. Close to downtown Eagle, Meridian, Star, Garden City, and Boise. Easy to get to, impossible to forget.

Nothing generic. Everything chosen with the same care that goes into the salon itself.
