Booking and Appointments

You can book online through our website anytime at your convenience. We also accept bookings by phone or text at 208.900.6688. Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred stylist and time.

Absolutely. Each stylist at Echelon brings a unique specialty and style. Visit our Team page to browse photos and bios, then book directly with the stylist who feels right for you.

Our salon is generally open seven days a week. Because our stylists set their own schedules, availability varies by day and individual. The best way to see real-time availability is to check our booking page, which always reflects current openings. You can also call or text us at 208.900.6688.

We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment. This gives you time to settle in, enjoy a complimentary beverage, and ensure a smooth, unhurried start to your service.

Yes. We offer complimentary consultations for color, extensions, and major transformations. It is a great opportunity to meet your stylist, ask questions, and map out a plan before committing to a service. Book a consultation the same way you would any appointment.

Please do. Showing us photos of colors, styles, or cuts you love helps us understand your vision and deliver a result that feels right. The more reference you bring, the better. Your Pinterest board is always welcome.

Yes. Every new guest who books with a core team stylist receives a complimentary blowout on their first visit. It is our way of introducing you to the salon and letting the experience speak for itself, no commitment required. This offer applies to Echelon core team stylists and is not available with independent stylists. Claim your free blowout here.

Yes. We handle color corrections and transformation work regularly. Whether you are dealing with brassiness, banding, uneven color, or an uneven cut, we will assess your hair and build a custom plan. Book a consultation first so we can properly evaluate what your hair needs.

Yes. Our Blowout Membership gives you regular styling perks at a monthly rate and is available when booking with core team stylists. It is one of our most popular offerings. Learn more about the membership here.

Yes. Echelon Salon gift cards are available for purchase in the salon and online. They make a genuinely good gift for birthdays, holidays, or any occasion worth celebrating.

Gratuity is never required but always appreciated by our team. If you loved your service, 18 to 20 percent is the standard for salon services, though entirely at your discretion. You can add a tip at checkout by card, cash, or through the Venmo or Zelle information your stylist can provide.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and cash.

Extensions

We offer tape-in, hand-tied, and clip-in extensions using 100% human hair. Each method has different benefits depending on your hair type, lifestyle, and goals. We cover everything in detail on our Extensions page, including how each method works and what to expect.

Extensions pricing varies based on the method, the amount of hair needed, and your natural hair. We recommend starting with a complimentary consultation so your stylist can assess your hair and give you an accurate quote. Visit the Extensions page or call us at 208.900.6688 to schedule.

With proper care, tape-in extensions typically last 6 to 8 weeks before a move-up appointment, while hand-tied extensions generally last 8 to 12 weeks. Longevity depends on how fast your hair grows and how well you maintain them at home. Your stylist will walk you through a full aftercare routine at your install appointment.

Yes, we require a consultation before booking an extension installation. This allows your stylist to evaluate your hair health, recommend the right method and amount, and ensure extensions are the right choice for your hair at this time. Consultations are complimentary and easy to book online or by phone.

Bridal and Events

Yes. We offer a full bridal experience including trials, day-of styling, bridal party coordination, and on-location travel to venues across the Treasure Valley. Because bridal services involve a lot of moving parts, we book all wedding appointments by phone or text rather than online. Yes. Our stylists travel to venues across Eagle, Meridian, Boise, Star, Nampa, and the broader Treasure Valley. Contact us with your venue location and party size and we will provide a custom quote.

Yes, and it is a truly special experience. We offer private salon rentals for bridal parties who want an exclusive getting-ready morning at Echelon. Your group gets the entire salon before regular hours, with custom catering arrangements, dedicated stylists, and a calm and private setting. Pricing is custom based on party size and timing. As early as possible. We typically book bridal dates 3 to 6 months in advance for popular spring and summer Saturdays. Call or text us as soon as you have a date and we will check availability for you.

Policies

We understand that situations come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours notice to protect the time of our stylists and other clients.

Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee of 50% of the service price.

No-shows will be charged 100% of the service price. This fee is non-refundable and cannot be applied toward future services.

Appointments booked within 24 hours of the scheduled time may be canceled or rescheduled up to 4 hours before the appointment without a cancellation fee.

Your satisfaction is our priority. If something is not right, please let us know within 7 days of your appointment and we will make it right. We want you to leave loving your hair every single time.

We do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but depending on how late you are and what service you have booked, your stylist may need to adjust the service or reschedule to avoid running into the next client. We always recommend calling ahead if you are running behind.

The Salon

We are located at 59 E Colchester Dr, Suite 130, Eagle, ID 83646, in the Bridges at Lakemoor center on Eagle Road. You will find us near Crave restaurant, Luxe Reel Theatre, Barre3, and Swig. Easy to find, plenty of free parking right out front.

Free parking is available directly in front of the salon. The lot is shared with the other businesses in the Bridges at Lakemoor center, so there is always plenty of space.

You will be greeted by name, offered a complimentary coffee or beverage, and taken care of from the moment you arrive. The salon is a brand-new, light-filled space with waterfront views, floating stations, lay-flat shampoo bowls, and a calm, unhurried atmosphere. There is also a curated boutique near the entrance if you want to browse while you wait.

Yes. The salon is fully accessible with easy ground-level entry from the parking lot. We welcome guests of all ages, though we ask that young children be supervised during appointments to ensure a relaxed environment for all guests.

Products and Boutique

We carry R+Co and R+Co Bleu, both high-performance luxury lines that are cruelty-free and offer a range of clean and vegan formula options. Your stylist will recommend the specific products that best suit your hair type and goals.

Yes. At the front of the salon Shannon has curated a boutique carrying R+Co hair care, hair accessories, dresses, tops, pants, hats, candles, and other pieces you would find at a great boutique. Everything is hand-selected and changes with the seasons. Worth a look every visit.

Yes. R+Co and R+Co Bleu are both cruelty-free brands and offer a range of vegan formulas. Ask your stylist which specific products in our lineup are fully vegan if that matters to you.

How Our Salon Works

Yes. Echelon is home to two types of talented professionals. Our core team stylists are employed directly by Echelon and work under the Echelon brand, policies, and guest experience. Our independent stylists run their own businesses from within our space, setting their own pricing and schedules.

Both types can be found and booked through our booking platform. The difference is in the relationship, not the quality. Everyone here is here because they are genuinely excellent at what they do. Visit our How Our Salon Works page to meet both groups and book directly.

Our core team stylists are Shannon Cather, McCall Beyer, Sofia Byers, Grace Litle, Haley Benton, Saylor Hardy, and Emma. These stylists are employed directly by Echelon and every appointment with them includes the full Echelon guest experience, including our complimentary first-visit blowout for new guests.

Our independent stylists are Flower Jensen, Kennedy Bagley, Josslyn Artes, Lauren Modica, Sarah Hoptar, Jamie Whitmer, Brianne Sanders, Nicole Jones, Natalie Palomino, Kristi Roberts, and Taylor Williams. They run their own practices within our space and set their own pricing and schedules. Many are available through our shared booking platform. They chose Echelon because this space reflects the standard they hold for their own work.

Not necessarily. Echelon guest policies including our cancellation policy and new client blowout offer apply to appointments with core team stylists. Independent stylists set their own policies.
