Echelon opened in May 2025 after a four-year search for the perfect space. Our team of California-trained stylists brings over two decades of expertise in precision cuts, dimensional color, balayage, highlights, tape-in and hand-tied extensions, blowouts, and bridal styling. We built this salon for clients who want more than a haircut. They want an experience.

Star is growing fast and so is its client base at Echelon. We are located right off Eagle Road in the Bridges at Lakemoor center, one of the most accessible salon locations in the Treasure Valley. From most of Star you are looking at 8 to 12 minutes with plenty of free parking when you arrive.
What brings Star clients here and keeps them coming back is not just the convenience. It is the space itself: a brand-new salon with floor-to-ceiling windows, waterfront pond views, lay-flat comfort shampoo bowls, custom lighting built for hair work, complimentary espresso and beverages, and a hand-curated boutique at the entrance. It feels like somewhere you would travel to. It happens to be just down the road.
And then there is the team. Every stylist at Echelon is here because they are genuinely skilled. Our owner Shannon Cather trained under top Los Angeles stylists and opened her first salon in greater LA in 2011 before bringing Echelon to Idaho. The talent in this building is real.
